The Le@rning Federation (TLF) is an initiative designed to create online curriculum content and infrastructure to ensure that teachers and students benefit from using these materials to widen and enhance their learning experiences in the classroom.

TLF is an initiative of the governments of Australia and the States, Territories and the government of New Zealand . TLF is project managed as part of a joint venture between Curriculum Corporation and education.au ltd. Both these companies are owned by all Ministers at a Commonwealth, State and Territory level.

TLF is owned and funded by the Australian Government, Australian State and Territory Governments, and the New Zealand Government. Approximately half of TLF's funding is provided by the Australian Government, with the State, Territory and New Zealand governments providing the remainder. TLF reports to these governments through the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA).

The Le@rning Federation is funded from 2001-2006 to develop online curriculum content specifically designed for Australian and New Zealand schools. TLF reports to the governments that fund the Initiative through the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs (MCEETYA).

The Initiative is managed by Chief Operating Officer Susan Mann.
